Beeraj Patel represents clients in a wide range of immigration matters, including employment-based immigrant strategies (employment and intracompany transfers, business visitor planning), investor options, all non-immigrant visa petitions, family-based immigrant petitions, applications for permanent residence, naturalization, consular processing, and immigration court representation.
As a first-generation American, Beeraj understands firsthand, through life experiences, the struggles of all those who are entangled at any stage of the immigration process. He appreciates how difficult it can be for talented individuals coming from other nations to negotiate through the complicated and even daunting immigration system of the United States.
Beeraj’s philosophy is to make it easy for talented and ambitious individuals to have access to immigration materials so that they can make the choice that is right for them. Early in his career, Beeraj spent three years working as a project manager in the IT world, which provided valuable experience in the world of IT immigration and business immigration. This experience led him to serve as head counsel and immigration attorney for an IT company located in Northern Virginia with a high concentration of foreign nationals on staff.
Beeraj has more than 16 years of experience with handling complex immigration cases, including everything from business/investor immigration to family-based and immigration court-related practices. Beeraj represents both businesses and individuals in all their immigration needs. In this role, Beeraj’s talents as an immigration attorney developed even further. Through his growing practice, Beeraj gained experience that can’t be bought, successfully working on over 1000 individual H1-B cases and over 500 individual PERM cases. But the breadth of his abilities extends even further, incorporating a substantial amount of L-1 and E Visas (including EB5 investor visas). He works with every client to create a successful immigration strategy, whether for business or family-related purposes.
Beeraj earned his law degree from John Marshall Law School, where he ranked number one in his first year and graduated in the top 10% of his graduating class. He earned his bachelor of science degree in Economics from the University of Virginia. He speaks Gujarati as a second language. Beeraj is based in KPPB LAW’s Gainesville, Virginia office.
